Qusay and Dar al-Nadwa

Makkah's Governance Structure:

  • Dar al-Nadwa comprised senior representatives from each subtribe, collectively making important community decisions.

Leadership of Subtribes:

  • Each subtribe in Makkah had a ruler,
  • Their representatives formed the decision-making body in Dar al-Nadwa.
  • Examples include Banu Hashim led by Abu Talib.
